Don Allison was born in Jackson, Tennessee on January 4, 1946, the son of the late Delmar S. and Mable Allison. He departed this life on November 16, 2019, at the age of 73 years, 10 months, and 12 days.
Don is remembered as a compassionate person. He enjoyed working on cars, driving and talking with friends about cars, especially a Ford, teaching, and helping others. Don had a love for drag racing, which he showed by participating in drag races, as well as going to NMCA and NHRA drag races.
Don is survived by his sister, Doris Guinn of Savannah, Tennessee and nieces, Regina Franklin and Rita Sewell of Savannah, Tennessee, Rebecca, and Rene Worley.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or American Diabetes Association.
