Donald Ray Misnik was born on September 11, 1955, the son of Elizabeth Johnson and the late Chester Misnik. On December 12, 1998, he was united in marriage to Anna Christine Mattingly Misnik, who survives. Donald departed this life on September 21, 2017, at the age of 62 years and 10 days.
Donald has lived in Savannah since 2005. He attended New Life Pentecostal Church and more recently, he served as a greeter at Grace Sanctuary and The Carpenter's Shop. Donald loved to wash cars, play computer games, and volunteer with CAM Ministries.
Along with his wife, Donald is survived by his son, Mike Mattingly of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Jim Holloway of Hohenwald, Tennessee; sister, Patricia Neaman of North Carolina; granddaughters, Michael Michelle Mattingly, Amanda Thomason, and Emily Thomason; and 7 great great grandchildren.
Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Holloway.
