Donna Ann Brock Delashmit was born in Hardin County on March 19, 1947, the first daughter of Helon and Daisy Mae White Brock. Donna attended Walker
Elementary and Central High School in Savannah, Tennessee, and was a member of the Class of 1965. ln 1967 she moved to Memphis, Tennessee, and began work. After her retirement, she moved to Olive Branch, Mississippi, to be closer to her grandchildren.
Donna loved spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren. She also loved her pets and pampered all of them. On April 29, 2018, at the age of 71, Donna Brock Delashmit departed this life after a long struggle with failing health. She leaves two sons, Kevin and Cory (Bonnie) Delashmit and her grandchildren, Delis, Dutch, Daire, and Darcie Delashmit. She also leaves her brother, Freddie Brock (Debbie) and sisters, Wanda Brock Broyles (Jimmy), and Lisa Brock; nieces, Sonja Broyles Williams and Misty Brock Dicus, and nephew Nick Brock (Amber); great nieces, Lilly Beth Williams, Eliza Williams, and Alexis Brock; great nephews, Eli Williams and Peyton Dicus; and her cousin, Blanch Gray, who was more like a sister to her and took special care of her during the last years of her life.
Donna was preceeded in death by her daughter, Maria Nekole Delashmit;
parents, Helon and Daisy Brock; grandparents, Charlie and Anna Brock and
William Frank and Lille Austin White, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and
cousins. Donna requested that the ashes of her daughter, Maria Nekole Delashmit (April 28,1972-March 3, 2009) and the ashes of her beloved little dog, Bonnie Bell (2002-20I4) be buried with her.
