Donnie Joe Matlock

Donnie Joe Matlock was born November 28, 1948 in Selmer, TN the son of the late Robert and Ruby Freeman Matlock.
He was united in marriage to Sandra Harris on May 29, 1993.
Joe was employed at P. J.'s and Piggly Wiggly in Selmer, TN for more than 30 years before he retired, and was a member of Gateway Holiness Chapel in Bethel Springs, TN. He enjoyed watching Western movies, traveling to the mountains with friends, and helping serve the community in the food ministry.
Joe departed this life on March 3, 2022 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 3 Months, 3 Days. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sandra (Harris) Matlock of Bethel Springs, TN; two sons, Lee Price and wife Becca and Timothy Price and wife Brandi, all of Bethel Springs, TN; a daughter, Kimberly Owens of McEwen, TN; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by three brothers: John Matlock, Gene Matlock, and James Matlock, and two sisters, Joyce Cobb and Nancy Wilburn.
