Doris Jane Hanback Littleton of Waynesboro, TN was born April 9, 1942 in Lutts, TN, the daughter of the late Alvin Lee and Willie Louise Whitaker Hanback. Mrs. Littleton was a retired factory worker from Tee Jay's and had worked at Collinwood Manufacturing and the Trace Group Home. She was a member of the Burns Chapel Freewill Baptist Church where she always enjoyed helping with Vacation Bible School. She was united in marriage to Jessie T.A. Littleton on September 1, 1960 and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1991.
Mrs. Littleton departed this life on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 10 Months, 11 Days.
She is survived by son, Bruce Alan Littleton and Shannon of Mt. Pleasant, TN; daughter, Jessica Leigh McWilliams. husband, Danny of Iron City, TN; grandchildren, Hollie Daniel (Shannon), Megan McWilliams (Ken), Chandler McWilliams (Mackenzie), Blake McWilliams (Maranda) and Austin Littleton; great-grandchildren, Makaleigh, Levi and Luke Risner and Glenna and Olivia Daniel; brothers, Thomas Hanback, wife, Terri of Cloverdale, AL and Roger Hanback, wife, Brenda of Killen, AL.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Littleton was preceded in death by daughter, Myra Jane Littleton and brother, David Hanback.
Services will be Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Edward Burbank and Bradley Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm and Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers with be Chandler McWilliams, Austin Littleton, Shannon Daniel, Ken Risner, Ricky Jackson and Charles Martin.
