Doris Richter

DORIS RICHTER

was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on January 1, 1931 the daughter of the late Charles Wright and Blanche Hope Paulk Shaw.

Mrs. Richter was a retired social worker for the Department of Human Services. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah. Mrs. Richter enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, cooking and was an avid reader. She also loved being with her family and her dog.

Mrs. Richter departed this life on September 18, 2013 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 17 days.

She is survived by her children, Lee Ann Williams and her husband Bruce of Savannah, Tennessee and Steve Richter and his wife Onya of Chattanooga, Tennessee

3 grandchildren, Bruce Williams, Jr., Steven Williams and Katyen Tweedy

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Shaw, Jr., David Shaw, Larry Shaw and three sisters, Sue Covey, Clarice Fowler and Martha Guinn.
