Dorothy Belsha Mathis

January 10, 1943 — April 15, 2021

Dorothy Mae Belsha Mathis, was born January 10, 1943 in Perry County, TN the daughter of the late Roy Garner and Eula Mae Carroll Belsha. She was a retired nurse and school bus driver and a member of the North HIghland Church of Christ. She was united in marriage to Rex Hendrex Mathis on October 31, 1959. Mr. Mathis preceded her in death on September 24, 2019.
Mrs. Mathis departed this life on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at her residence in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 3 Months and 5 Days.

She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Lavada Mathis of Waynesboro, TN, Shelia Renee Daniel and husband Heath of Collinwood, TN, grandchildren, Brooklyn Kimble, Braylee Daniel, Brier Daniel and Hannah Davis, a great grandchild, Maebri Denton and a sister, Mary B. Dotson of Linden, TN.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. North Highland Cemetery in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Greg Eaton officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors is assisting the family.

Pallbearers: Thomas Davis, Brier Daniel, Robert Mathis, Zachary Mathis, Trent Daniel and Heath Daniel
