Dorothy Jean Wall Smith

Dorothy Jean Stanislaus Wall Smith was born August 23, 1933 in Fredonia, KS, the daughter of the late Kenneth R. Stanislaus and Dorothy Ann Toon Stanislaus Fluke. Mrs. Smith departed this life Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 11 months, and 28 days. She was married to John Ollie Wall and he preceded her in death April 9, 1986. She later married J. W. Smith and he preceded her in death September 10, 2015. Mrs. Smith, a housewife and homemaker, was a member of Green River Tabernacle Church. In addition to her parents and husbands, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a grandson, Chance Bowen and sisters, Shirley Kingsmill and Gelene Almeida.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Hiett and her husband Rich of Zanesville, OH, Sharon Bowen of Lutts, TN, and son, John Wall, Jr. and wife Joyce of Ravenna, OH, grandchildren, Lisa, Jennifer, Robert, John, Crystal, Johnathan, and David, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Green River Tabernacle in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Larry Janes officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services. At the request of her family she will be cremated. Shackelford Funeral Directors is assisting the family.
