Dwight Lynn Churchwell

Dwight Lynn Churchwell of Crump, Tennessee, was born on November 14, 1941, in Hardin County the son of the late Earl and Novella Crotts Churchwell.

In September 1989, he began a lengthy courtship with Georgia Ward and on March 20, 2002, they were married.

Lynn was the owner and operator of C&C Trucking in Crump, Tennessee, and after 30 years he chose to retire. He liked "dressed up" trucks that ran fast and had a good set of train horns. Lynn was a people person, enjoyed traveling, and loved his dog, Buddy.

Dwight Lynn Churchwell departed this life on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at the age of 79 years, 5 months, and 28 days.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia Churchwell of Crump, Tennessee; daughters, Anita Churchwell of Crump, Tennessee Tina Churchwell of Adamsville, Tennessee; stepdaughter, Melissa Davidson of Savannah, Tennessee; and brother, Ricky Churchwell of Crump, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, Lynn was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry L. Churchwell and sister, Beverly June Churchwell Chambers.
