Earline Wheeler

Mrs. Wheeler passed from this life on Sunday night, March 24, 2019 at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late James Bryan and Maude Cossar West and lived her entire life in Hardeman County. On April 29, 1944, she married Mr. Howard Wheeler. He died Monday, April 23 2001. Mrs. Wheeler is also preceded in death by two sisters, Bettye Jean Burnette and Estella Daniels and a brother, J. B. West.

For 26 years, Mrs. Wheeler was a cook in the cafeteria of Bolivar Elementary School. The only job she ever had outside the home, she made a positive impact on the lives of many school children during the years she was there. Cooking was one of her many passions, but she also loved gardening, her flowers and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

She leaves her daughter, Becky Marshall and husband, David, of Bartlett, TN; two grandchildren, Angela Jennings of Cordova and Randy Marshall and wife, Kathleen, of Hernando, MS; and five great-grandchildren, Melissa and Michael Jennings, Jimmy Marshall and wife, Jennifer, Brandon Marshall and Adam Marshall along with wife, Cassandra.
