Edward Albert TwarDokus, Jr., age 77, of Henderson died Friday evening at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.
He was born in Rochester, NY on November 18, 1942, son of the late Edward Albert, Sr. and Minnie Smith TwarDokus. He grew up and attended school in New York State. He served in the U.S. Navy for two years and during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He worked various careers including home construction and painting, bit acting in TV and movies and as a full gospel minister. He was a jack of all trades and also a published author. He loved horses and making people smile.
He married Wendy Cotter Morgan September 18, 2004 in San Antonio, TX. Wendy was a traveling nurse and they traveled extensively moving to Henderson, TN in 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy TwarDokus; two stepsons Robert Morgan (Angie) of Southaven, MS and Geoff Morgan of Doniphan, MO; six grandchildren Wyatt, Shelby, Caleb, Sierra, Alexandria and Victoria Morgan; and a sister Carol Batty of El Paso, TX.
There will be a Committal Service with Military Honors at the Tennessee State Veteran Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads, TN at 1:30 PM, Friday January 17th.
