Mrs. Hill passed from this life on Wednesday night at her home in Pinson.
A native of Fayette County, she had also lived in Selmer, Hornsby (18 years), Bolivar, Southaven, MS, Enville and had resided in Pinson for the past 25 years. She was the daughter of the late Monroe and Emma Stephens Glover. Mrs. Hill retired as a realtor for Town and Country Real Estate and had also worked for Kilgore and Maytag.
She was a member of the Hatchie Baptist Church and, in her leisure time, enjoyed camping, traveling with her daughter and sister, cooking, collecting cookbooks and caring for her family.
She leaves behind two daughters, Deborah Hodge of Bolivar and Pam Pennington of Adamsville; two sisters, Grace Jones of Wilmington, IL and Lela Dishman of Tucson, AZ; one brother, J. R. Ross of Pollard, AR; four grandchildren, Chris Pennington of Jackson, Robin Stebbins of Hernando, MS, Larry Pennington of Ft. Lewis, WA and Catherine Morris of Adamsville; and 7 great-grandchildren, Dylan Pritchett of San Antonio, TX, Tristan Pennington of Jackson, Alayia Stebbins of Hernando, MS, Levi Pennington of Twentynine Palms, CA, Alyse Stebbins of Hernando, MS, Colton Pennington of Ft. Lewis, WA and Harley Morris of Adamsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Barry Hodge; two sisters, Frances Ivy and Alice Reeves; and three brothers, Wesley Fletcher, Monroe Glover, Jr. and David Glover.
