    Emmett Lynn Majors

    April 2, 1960 - January 13, 2022

Mr. Majors departed this life on Thursday morning, January 13, 2022. A native of Bolivar, he was the son of the late Aubra Vernell Majors and Mamie Vernease Lowrance Majors and lived his entire life here. United marriage to the former Robbie Virginia Hill on May 13, 1977, they were married for 44 years almost 45 years in May. Mr. Majors worked 10 years at Armira Corporation until the plant closed and then went to work for over 35 years in facility management with Kilgore Corporation in Toone. In his leisure time, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting and watching the 'critters' play while sitting on his front porch. Most of all, he liked spoiling and bragging on his grandchildren. Lynn was an organ donor - helping others even with his passing. In addition to his wife, Robbie, he leaves two daughters, Audra (Lee) Bruce and Ashley Majors, both of Bolivar; a son, Kevin Majors(Heather), also of Bolivar; seven grandchildren, Matthew Majors, Jacob Bruce, Connor Majors, Zachary Bruce, Keaton Majors, Emma Bruce and Lilly Majors; step-grandchildren, Addison "Shirley" Hyman, Madison Bolton and Alex Myers; step-great grandchild, Joshua Bolton; siblings, Wayne (Karla) Majors of Jacksonville, FL, Patsy Stinson of Bolivar, Maerene (Larry) Webb of Saulsbury and Diane (Dickie) Maxwell of Savannah; and a host of step-siblings, nieces and nephews. Also preceding him in death are paternal grandparents, Wilburn and May Bell Majors; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Mamie Lowrance; step-mother, Billie Jean Majors; two step-sisters, Patricia Farmer and Sheila Martin Keough; and two step-brothers, Gary and Mike Hill. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis http://www.stjude.org
