Mrs. Emogene King Walton, 86, of Bolivar, passed away Saturday night, December 5, 2020, at her home.
The widow of John William Walton who preceded her in death in 1986, she was born in Chester County, the daughter of the late David Dossie King and Rosa Elizabeth Evans King. Quick-witted and a lover of the simple things in life, she looked forward to daily meeting her friends at the local McDonald's restaurant. Even the doctors and nurses who cared for her made friends quickly and often referred to her as "their favorite patient".
She leaves two daughters, Mona Walton of Memphis and Nancy (Tim) Carter of Arlington, TN; one son, Richard Walton and his wife, Paula, who was a large part of her care giving, of Bolivar; one sister, Margie Arnold of Parsons; 12 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
