Ernest Leon Foster of Humboldt, TN was born July 27, 1943 in McNairy County, TN, the son of the late John Henry and Florida B. Whitten Foster. Mr. Foster departed this life on October 12, 2018 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 2 Months, 15 Days.
He was a loving husband, great father and grandfather, hard working, and family oriented. He was a Selmer High School Graduate. He was married to Darlene Evans in 1963. Leon enjoyed hunting, fishing, being a Pepaw and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Darlene Foster; two sons, Ernest Leon Foster Jr. (Missy) of Humboldt, TN, Keith Foster (Stephanie) of Medina, TN; three grandchildren, Bethney, Kruz and Dane Foster; siblings: Von Foster (Ruby), Herman Foster (Dale), Patsy McCormick (J.D.), Kathy Poole (Walter), Lola Mae Ada (Dewayne), John Foster (Shelia), Lisa Sheaffer (Brad); and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Foster was preceded in death by siblings: Gene Foster, Joyce Whitehead and Quinn Congiardo.
