Eunice Williams Bell was born June 9, 1921 in Bethel Springs, TN, the daughter of the late Ernest Scott and Freddie Jane Tucker Williams.
She was united in marriage to Lloyd Carl Bell on May 10, 1941. Mr. Bell preceded her in death on November 19, 2010.
Mrs. Bell was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Bethel Springs, TN. She loved to sew and quilt. She had worked for Brown Shoe Company in years past as a Fancy Stitcher. She loved playing the piano, and in years past had also played the mandolin, guitar, organ, accordion, and harmonica.
Mrs. Bell departed this life on April 23, 2014 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 10 Months, 14 Days.
She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Bell Burney and husband Bill of Selmer, TN, Carolyn Bell Brown of Selmer, TN, a very special daughter-in-law, Linda Bell of Rossville, GA; a sister, Naomi Flint of El Dorado, KS, a sister-in-law, Kathleen Williams; a brother, Herman Williams and wife Marie of Nashville, TN; eight grandchildren, Angela Govan and husband Henry of Gallatin, TN, Vickie Meek of Adamsville, TN, George Brown Jr. and wife Lorrie of Adamsville, TN, Wesley Burney and wife Wendy of Murfreesboro, TN, Sallye Burney Williams of McLean, VA, Rachel Burney of Selmer, TN, David Bell of Rossville, GA, Zach Bell of Rossville, GA; six great grandchildren, Michael Meek of Adamsville, TN, Matthew Govan and wife Jordyn of Ft. Campbell, KY, Benjamin Govan of Gallatin, TN, Dylan Burney of Murfreeboro, TN, Gage Bell of Rossville, GA, Chandler Bell of Rossville, GA; a grt-grt-granddaughter, Ella Kate Govan to be born in Sept.; a special friend, Mae Reeves of Selmer, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Faye Bell; a son, Fred Allen Bell; a sister, Mazie Duncan; two brothers, Pierce Williams and Farris Williams.
