Evelyn Hollins was born on May 30, 1937 in Corinth, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Johnnie and Essie Elizabeth Bobo Crum.
On June 30, 1961, she was united in marriage to William Hollins, who preceded his wife in death on March 9, 2014.
Evelyn retired from Hardin Medical Center where she worked as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed cooking for her loved ones and spending time with them. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, reading, doing multiple types of crafts, and tending to her plants and flowers in her garden.
Evelyn Hollins departed this life on March 30, 2022 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 84 years and 10 months.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Shelley and her husband Rickey, Sherrie Garner and her husband John, Linda Boswell and Vance; sisters, Opal Bright, Edna Dowden, and Betty Davis; brother, Gary Crum; grandchildren, Wesley Cossey and his wife Sarah, Gage Boswell, Jacob Boswell, Luke Garner, Kyle Thomas, Adrian Garner, Shea King, Jonathan Davis and Jennifer O'Brien; great grandchildren, Alissa Guinn, Sadie Guinn, Addison Boswell, Cecelia Garner, Kelsey Inman, Kiefer Inman, and Kellen Inman.
In addition to her parents and husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by her son, William Anthony Hollins and grandchild, Jeremy Wayne Cossey.
