Evelyn McFerson was born in Tipton County, Tennessee on October 20, 1942, the daughter of the late Raymond and Ethel Mathis. She was united in marriage to James Ellison Predaman McFerson, who preceded her in death on August 6, 2005. Evelyn departed this life on July 21, 2019, at the age of 76 years, 9 months, and 2 days.
Evelyn was of the Baptist belief. Before retiring, she worked for Tri County Convalescent Home for 14 years. Evelyn enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and watching television.
Evelyn is survived by her sons, Robert A. McFerson and special friend Janis of Savannah, Tennessee and Jeffery A. McFerson and special friend Misty of Crump, Tennessee; and three grandchildren, Robert Lee McFerson, Dakota McFerson and wife Rachel, and Sierra McFerson.
In addition to her parents and husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by her son, Greg McFerson and her sister, Betty Mathis.
No services will be held.
