Faye Stewart Foote

Faye Stewart Foote of Toone, passed from this life Monday, June 20, 2022, at the age of 90 years, 8 months, and 30 days.

Mrs. Foote was born Monday, September 21, 1931 in Silerton, TN, to Lindsey A. and Mary T. Wyatt Stewart. She lived in Silerton until she married Claude Moore Foote, Jr. on October 14, 1950, who passed on August 19, 2005. She was a secretary for Toone School from 1970 - 1974 when she became secretary to the Hardeman County Executive, her husband Claude Foote, Jr. She loved her church, Toone Baptist, where was very active, singing in the choir. She loved life, playing basketball and attending church and social events.

Survivors include two sons, Mark Foote and wife Tammy, and Keith Foote and fiance Sherry Wright; and a grandson, Adam Keith Foote; in addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by two sisters, Cutaugh Stewart Destarding and Ossie Stewart Rush, and a daughter-in-law, Pam Ripperton Foote.
