Freeda Mae Weeks Bricker was born December 17, 1942 in Leapwood, TN the daughter of the late A. N. and Mary Florence Harris Weeks.
She was first united in marriage to Carl McKee. To this union two children were born. Mr. McKee preceded her in death on December 21, 1978. She then married Billy Joe Burks, who preceded her in death on August 30, 1991. In October of 1993 she married Donald Avan Bricker, who preceded her in death on May 26, 2020.
Mrs. Bricker earned her licensed practical nurse certification from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Crump, TN. She worked with the Vinson Clinic for many years and retired from Tri-County Convalescent Center in Adamsville. Mrs. Bricker was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star, holding many offices through the years. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and was famous for her "best ever" carrot cake. Mrs. Bricker was a member of the Adamsville Free Will Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bricker departed this life on January 16, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 30 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Carla Coleman and husband Kendall of Erin, TN; a son, Randy McKee and wife Aleisa of Adamsville, TN; two step-sons, John Bricker and wife Morgan of Adamsville, TN and Andy Bricker and wife Sarah of Savannah, TN; six grandchildren: Melissa Hardin and husband Aaron of Sweetwater, TN, Nicholas McKee and wife Kaely of Finger, TN, Alexander Coleman and wife Hayley, Victoria Coleman, Catherine Coleman, and JohnClay Coleman, all of Erin, TN; four step-grandchildren: Jean Anne Bricker, John (J. T.) Bricker, Elizabeth Bricker, and Shawn Bricker; two great grandchildren, Sidney and Wesley Hardin; a sister, Brenda Pickens of Adamsville, TN; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to her husbands and parents, Mrs. Bricker was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Finley, and six brothers: Welbert Weeks, Elvin Weeks, Doyle Weeks, Shannon Weeks, Waylon Weeks, and Arvis Weeks.
