Mr. Garry Allen Turpin of Mercer passed from this life Saturday, February 21, 2015, at the age of 60 years, 4 months and 30 days.
Mr. Turpin was born in Bolivar, TN September 22, 1954 to Nell Lorene Byrum Turpin and Frank Allen Turpin. He was a self-employed worker in A/C and Refrigeration. Mr. Turpin was well rounded and very social, having many friends. He loved to go to church and was a mentor to many. His family called him knowledgeable and he stayed with his dear mother. His past residences include Bolivar, Cloverport and Mercer.
Along with his mother, survivors include a son, Michael Turpin (Tammy) of Bolivar; a daughter Brandy Dickey (Trinity) of Bethel Springs, a sister Cindy Ross (Charlie) of Mercer; a brother Larry Turpin (Janice) of Mercer; 4 grandchildren Brittany Richie, Evan Hillman, Joshua and Cameron Dickey; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
