Gayle Devers LaForce

Gayle LaForce departed this life on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the age of 79 years, 11 months, and 14 days. She was born in Wayne County, Tennessee, on June 22, 1942, the daughter of the late William Wallace Devers and Ruby Beatrice Goodman Devers Perry. On November 8, 1957, she was united in marriage to Everett LaForce, who survives.

Gayle loved flowers, doing needlework, being on the computer, and especially loved her family.

Gayle is survived by her husband of 64 years, Everett LaForce of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Debra Lynn LaForce Simpson of Savannah, Tennessee and Laura Beth LaForce Leohr of Olive Hill, Tennessee; eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters, Kayron Galongo of California and Sue McCann of Millington, Tennessee; and a brother, Jerry Devers of Kentucky.

In addition to her parents, Gayle was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathryn Freeman and Linda Boles; and a brother, Charles Devers.
