GLADYS GREER
Beech Bluff, TN: Gladys Lucel Funk Greer age 83 passed away March 30, 2020 at Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born December 26, 1936 in Dunningtown, PA and raised in Dunningtown and Fairless Hills, the daughter of the late Charles J. and Mabel Beaver Funk. She graduated from Pennsbury High School and entered the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. She and Mr. Greer were discharged together, came home together and were married in 1958. They made their home in Fairless Hills for about thirty years and Mr. Greer transferred here with Bosie Cascade and helped set the plant in Jackson. They made their home in the Five Points Community since 1974. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Fairless Hills, PA.
She enjoyed fishing and riding horses. She was an avid reader and was skilled at crocheting and enjoyed helping raise her grandchildren.
Mrs. Greer is survived by her husband of 63 yeaars, Herman ‘Bobby’ Greer of Beech Bluff; three daughters, Bonnie Clark of Cordova, Charlene Davis (Jeff) of Jackson and Dena Leonard (Mason) of Jackson; four grandchildren, Megan Matlock (Zak), AnnaBeth Cornelison (Tanner), Matt Davis, and Trey Leonard; and two great grandchildren, Adelyn Cornelison and Cameron Matlcok.
