    Glenda Latham

    August 24, 1937 - May 10, 2022

Glenda Latham was born on August 24, 1937 in Clifton, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Grayford Frank and Vernal Lee McDonald Morrow. Ms. Latham worked as a legal secretary for Hopper & Plunk Attorney prior to her retirement. She was a resident of Hardin Home Nursing Home where she was loved and treated like family. Glenda loved to read and she could tell you where to find any scripture in the Bible. She loved all dogs and never came across one she couldn't pet. Every dog she owned was very spoiled and loved. Glenda was very talented with a musical ear for playing the piano and she even wrote a song or two. She will be remembered for being beautiful, kind, and intelligent woman with a work ethic like no other. Her greatest joy in life was her grandson, 2nd Lieutenant Daniel Cody Harris, who inherited all her smarts. Glenda Latham departed this life on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 8 months, and 16 days. She is survived by her son, Thomas Brett Latham of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Mitzi Latham Harris and her husband Wesley of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Martin Rich Morrow and his wife Delores Diane of Florence, Alabama; and grandson, Cody Harris. In addition to her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Lane Latham; sister, Doris Jeanette Collier; brother in law, Durwood Reed Collier; and the father of her children, Thomas Shelton Latham.
