Glenda Freeman Ray of Selmer, TN was born July 3, 1941 in Adamsville, TN the daughter of the late Artille Freeman and Opal Boleyn Freeman. She worked in Sales Management in both the wholesale home accessories and clothing industry. She worked in various areas of the country including Memphis and Nashville prior to retiring and moving back to McNairy County and Selmer 4 years ago.
Ms. Ray departed this life on October 21, 2017 in Savannah, TN at the age of 76 Years, 3 Months, 18 Days. She is survived by a son, Farris (Skip) Ray and wife Pam of Concord, CA; three grandchildren, Ethan Ray, Jake Ray, Marshall Ray; two brothers, Keith Freeman of Selmer, TN, Jimmy Joe Freeman of Birmingham, AL; her former husband, William Steven Ray of Cordova, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family will be having a memorial service at a later date.
