Glenda L. Stanfield departed this life on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at the age of 74 years, 3 months, 4 days.
She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on June 23, 1940, the daughter of the late Iley and Louvenia Love White. On June 27, 1958, she was united in marriage to Wallace G. "Hoover" Stanfield, who preceded her in death on November 24, 2012.
Glenda was a member of the Olivet Community and the New Harmony Baptist Church. She had worked for Brown Shoe Company and Angelica. Glenda was a hard worker, a good cook, enjoyed gardening, and planting flowers.
She is survived by a son, Rickey Stanfield and wife, Keri of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Jeanette Daniels, Doris Tate, June Armstrong, Norma Wesson, and Hazel Hern; brothers, Terry White and David White; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son James W. Stanfield; a sister, Mary Ann Woody; brothers, Morris White, Sonny White, Iley White, Jr., and Billy Gene White.
