Gordon Reid Wardlow, Sr. was born April 28, 1938 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Kenneth (Jack) Brown Wardlow and Velma Virginia Reid Wardlow.
Gordon graduated from Michie High School. He was a retired Tennessee state Highway Inspector that worked for TDOT for 35 years and helped with writing the first employee training manual. He was a Master Mason with lodge 289. Gordon was united in marriage to Judy Parks on July 1, 1991. He was a visitor the Parks Chapel Methodist Church in Fayette County, Tennessee. He enjoyed hunting and shooting sports.
Mr. Wardlow departed this life on October 25, 2020 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 5 Months, 27 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Wardlow of Memphis, TN; children: Gordon Wardlow Jr. and wife Sirena of Victoria, MS, David Wardlow of Southhaven, MS and Duuna Kee of Cordova, TN: step daughter, Renee Wages and husband Mike of Grenada, MS; a sister, Virginia Matlock of Selmer, TN; two grandchildren, Dustin and Carter Wardlow; three step grandchildren: Brittany, Kyle and Tommi Lynn Marlar; two step great grandchildren, Aubrey Ann and Clayton Lee Marlar.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wardlow was preceded in death by son-in-law, Louis Kee; grandson, Taylor Wardlow; and two sisters, Audene Childers, Christine Atkins.
