Mr. Jackson departed this life early Wednesday morning, April 3, 2019 at Bolivar General Hospital.
He was born in Middleton and, except for a time when he was in Selmer, lived his entire life in Hardeman County. For 30 years, he was a truck driver for Eagles Wings Transport. In his leisure time, Mr. Jackson enjoyed fishing, watching Alabama football, his trucks, family gatherings, joking and cutting up with those around him. He professed his Faith to Rev. Aaron Moss, who will be officiating funeral services.
He leaves his wife, Sandra Jackson, of Toone; his daughter, Brittany Rodriguez of Bolivar; four sons, Tony Jackson of Nashville, Josh Galigher of Bolivar, Stephen Jackson of Finger and Drake Jackson of Selmer; two sisters, Brenda Jackson of Jackson and Pat Jackson of Selmer; two brothers, Ray (Ann) Jackson of Middleton and Rickey Jackson of Newton, MS; and nine grandchildren, Eric Christopher Galigher, Karliee, Elaynna, Ryker, Emma, Adelyn Grace, Mason and Zander Jackson and Jaelyn Banks.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Turner Howell; his father, Duke Jackson, sister, Debbie Cox; and brothers, Tony and Daniel Gene Jackson.
