Gregory Allen Potete

Gregory Allen Potete was born May 8, 1967 in Chicago, Ill the son of Colin and Mae Bostic Potete. Mr. Potete was a disabled Machinist and worked many years in his wrecker service. He also enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing and riding All Terain Vehicles.Mr. Potete departed this life on July 16, 2021 in at the age of 54 Years, 2 Months, 8 Days.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by son, Tyler Potete of Collinwood, TN; daughter, Kayla Potete of Waynesboro, TN; a brother, Gerald Potete of Double Springs, AL; a sister, Regina Wright of Ancharage, AK;


Services will be held on Monday July 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Waynesboro in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Daniel Graves, Danny McConnell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery at Collinwood, Tennessee

Visitation will be held Sunday July 18,2021 from 5:00pm till 9:00pm and again Monday from 10:00 am till 1;00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Direcctors in Waynesboro, Tennessee.
