Hazel Baugus was born on April 5, 1929, the daughter of the late Lige Daniel and Ida Beatrice Franks Irvin. She departed this life on January 3, 2019, at the age of 89 years, 8 months, and 29 days.
Hazel worked as a supervisor for Brown Shoe Company for 38 years and as a caregiver for the elderly. She enjoyed gardening and yard work, and she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Hazel is survived by her sons, Wayne Baugus and wife Jan and Kenneth Baugus and wife Beth, all of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Faye Parker and husband Joe of Saltillo, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Pam Baugus of Adamsville, Tennessee; sister, Jewel White of Savannah, Tennessee; brother L.D. Irvin of Savannah, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her son, Randall Baugus; brothers, Jack Irvin and Walter Irvin; and sister, Ruie Reynolds.
