Hilda Jo Williams Ashe was born January 20, 1949 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late Clynoth (C.B.) and Reba Mayhall Williams. She was a graduate of Michie High School class of 1967.
She was united in marriage to Eddie F. Ashe on November 27, 1969. Mr. Ashe preceded her in death on March 28, 2004.
Mrs. Ashe served her community by volunteering and serving in various capacities - she had a true servant's heart. She believed in agricultural awareness, education and advancement.
She was the secretary/treasurer and member at Lebanon United Methodist Church in Michie, TN. She served on or was a member of FCE, McNairy County Farm Bureau, McNairy County Young Farmers and Ranchers, McNairy/Chester County Cattleman's Association, USDA Advisory Board, McNairy County Republicans. She was also a proud participant and supporter of Arise to Read Program, Ag in the Classroom, Girl Scouts, FFA, 4-H, Landowner's Association and Jesus Cares.
She was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved her church, family, community and cooking.
Mrs. Ashe departed this life on May 30, 2020 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 4 Months, 10 Days. She is survived by three daughters, Monica Ashe of Michie, TN, Valerie Harrelson and husband Aaron of Michie, TN, Emily Ashe of Overland Park, KS; a sister, Tressa Benson and husband Larry of Corinth, MS; sister-in-law, Teressa McAfee and husband David of Michie, TN; two brothers, Tim Williams of Stantonville, TN, Roger Williams and wife Martha of Selmer, TN; two brothers-in-law, Mike Ashe and wife Peggy of Michie, TN, Keith Ashe and wife Tracy of Florida; five grandchildren, Ashton Rich of Clarksville, TN, Victoria Taylor of Michie, TN, Ireland Harrelson of Corinth, MS, Madeline Harrelson of Corinth, MS, Machaela Harrelson of Corinth, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Ashe was preceded in death by parents-in-law, Edward and Mable Ashe.
Memorials may be made Lebanon Cemetery Fund or Donor's choice.
