Hugh O'Quin Tanner

Hugh O'Quin Tanner was born September 18, 1941 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Ottie Lee and Nolan Tanner Gardner. He was united in marriage to Joyce Ann Thomas on April 28, 1962. He was a member of the Clear Creek Baptist Church in Lawton, Tennessee. He loved spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed gardening and anything pertaining to automobiles.
Mr. Tanner departed this life on February 13, 2020 in Stantonville, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 4 Months, 26 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann Tanner of Stantonville, TN; a daughter, Teresa Sparks and husband Robby; a son, Tony Tanner and special friend Sandra Guerin; siblings: Brenda Horton, Delaine Tanner, Janice Ring, Paul Tanner and Pam Weeks; 5 grandchildren: Ryan Sparks and wife Crystal, Ronnie Sparks and wife Ashley, Randy Sparks and wife Audrianna, Clay Tanner and wife Lacey, Bridget Stedman and husband Matt; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Tanner was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Anderson.
Memorial service to be held at later time.
