Hunter Chase Johnson was born in Jackson, Tennessee on March 30, 2000, the son of Kenneth Wade Johnson and Geneva Gail Frank Mansell. He departed his life on October 21, 2017, at the age of 17 years, 6 months, and 21 days.
Hunter was a member of the Eureka United Methodist church. He enjoyed four wheeler riding, hunting, fishing, and camping. Hunter was a country boy, and his friends nicknamed him "Redneck."
In addition to his parents, Kenneth Wade Johnson and companion Melissa Casteel and Geneva Gail Mansell and husband Gary, Hunter is survived by his brother, Dakota Wade Johnson of Savannah, Tennessee; step-sisters, Hannah Marie Hutcheson and Terri Ann Howard; step-brother, Gary Len Mansell, Jr.; and grandparents, Patsy and Paul Johnson, of Savannah, Tennessee.
Hunter was preceded in death by his grandparents, Virgil and Grace Frank; great grandmother, Viola Wilkerson; great great grandfather, Dan Wilkerson; and great great grandparents, Robert W. and Mary Ruth Austin Hunt.
