Ida 'Pat' Preslar

IDA ‘PAT’ PRESLAR
Jackson, TN: Ida Marie White Preslar age 93, passed away September 27, 2021, at Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born and reared in Chester County, in the Montezuma community, the daughter of the late James Woodard and Velma Inman White. She attended schools in Montezuma and Henderson. In 1945 she married Woodard ‘Woody’ Coolidge Preslar. They made their home in Jackson most of their married life. She had worked at Oakley Fashions and then Mid-South Textiles where she retired in 1992. Mr. Preslar died in 2011. She was a member of the Rocky Springs Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister, Jamie Nash of Pinson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Woodard ‘Woody’ Preslar in 2011; a brother, Curtis White and two sisters, Rozelle Malone and Nova Inman.
Private family graveside services will be held at Chester County Memory Gardens.
