J. Huston Dill

J. HUSTON DILL

Was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on December 18, 1947 the son of the late Buck Huston and Eva Sellers Dill.

On October 15, 1967 he was united in marriage to Nancy P. Lesley, who survives.

Mr. Dill was a retired self employed carpenter and in 1986 he became an ordained minister. He was a member Bruton Branch Baptist Church. Mr. Dill was an avid fisherman and hunter.

In addition to his wife of 51 years, Nancy of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by his children, William Dill and his wife Shawn of Pontotoc, Mississippi, Scotty Lee Dill and his wife Glenda of Guntown, Mississippi and Candy Shockley and her husband T.J. of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Susie Johnson, Nancy Kemp and her husband Robert and Peggy Crumpton and her husband Donald, all of Mantachie, Mississippi; grandchildren, Colin Dill and his wife Jordan, Coby Dill, Amy Dickens and her husband Chad, Samantha Dill, Dustin Dill, Lexis Dickens, Brannon Wilder, Miranda Kirby and her husband Andrew, Madi Shockley, Marli Shockley and Pressley Shockley; great grandchildren, Gavin Romanski, Makenna Earnest and Journey Pearl Kirby.

Mr. Dill was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jerry Dill and three sisters, Virginia Gray, June Payne and Patsy Dill.
