Jack Bergloff

Jack Bergloff, 77, of Saulsbury, departed this life Friday, September 18, 2020 at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date for Mr. Bergloff.

He was born April 19, 1943 in McCook, Nebraska, son of the late Edward Nelson Bergloff and Gladys Nelson Bergloff and lived in Kansas City, MO and Texas before moving here 10-12 years ago. He was retired from American Airlines as a crew chief, where he had worked for 35 years. He was a member of the United Airlines Workers Union and enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle, but mostly loved being around his family. He was a veteran of the US Navy and his family states that he was 'very mechanical minded, being able to work on any type of machinery'. They also tell that he loved KFC, Waffle House and his church family. Mr. Bergloff was a member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Steve Bergloff (Deanna) of Saulsbury and Tyrone E. Bergloff of Southaven, MS; a brother, Larry Bergloff of Independence, MO; three grandchildren, Danielle M. Moss (James), Jessica N. Bergloff and McKenzie Newman (Steven); and four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Bristle in 2008.
