James Miller Hudgens departed this life on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the age of 67 years, 3 months, and 23 days. He was born in Highland Park, Michigan on September 12, 1950, the son of the late George Miller and Mary Lucille Parchment Hudgens.
James had worked for Parris Manufacturing and was a member of Graham United Methodist United Methodist Church, where he was a song leader for many years. He enjoyed making replicas of churches, schools, and other buildings. James loved reading the Bible and going to church as well as reading and studying about trains.
He is survived by his sister, Rita Derr and her husband Donald, and Vickie McLemore, both of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Thomas Neil Hudgens and John Hudgens and his wife Myra, all of Savannah, Tennessee; two nieces; four nephews; a great niece; and four great nephews.
