James Ricky Melson

JAMES RICKY MELSON

was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on June 27, 1961 the son of the late Thomas and Lois Hickerson Melson.

James was of the Pentecostal belief. He loved reading his Bible, doing mechanical work and taking care of animals. James loved being outdoors and going to flea markets. He was a very outgoing person and never met a stranger.

James departed this life on October 31, 2018 at his residence in Counce, Tennessee at the age of 57 years, 4 months and 4 days.

He is survived by his children; Amanda Melson of Savannah, Tennessee, James Ricky Melson, Jr. of Corinth, Mississippi, Sarah Johnson of Corinth, Mississippi, Shannon Campbell of Guntown, Mississippi and Miranda Pettigo of Boonville, Mississippi; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Cathy Oliver and Wanda Grimes, both of Savannah, Tennessee ; one brother, Donnie Melson of Counce, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by one son, Josh Melson; three sisters, Elizabeth Joyce Kiddy, Carolyn Faye Murphy and Connie Evelyn Mills; and one brother, Dennis Lee Melson.
