James P. (Jimmy) McMasters was born in Pennsylvania on April 13, 1959, the son of Gracie Maxine Richmond Carter and the late James Perry McMasters, Sr. He departed this life on November 27, 2017, at the age of 58 years, 7 months, and 14 days.
Jimmy worked at Rose's Sawmill for over 20 years and served his country in the United States Army. Before living in Hardin County, Tennessee, Jimmy lived in Alliance, Ohio. Hunting, fishing, bonfires, working on cars, and gardening were some of his favorite hobbies.
In addition to his mother, Jimmy is survived by his wife, Flora McMasters; sons, James McMasters and wife Brittany and Thomas McMasters and wife Felisha, both of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Brandy Stanfield and husband Allen and Jessica McMasters and husband Jamie Feazell, both of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Calvin Marshall and John L-Roy Marshall, both of Ohio, and Willey Dean McMasters of Savannah, Tennessee; a sister, Sissy McMasters of Alliance, Ohio; grandchildren, Ariana Stanfield, Makayla Stanfield, Izabella McMasters, Alicia Bishop, Elle McMasters, Conner McMasters, and Macy Feazell.
