James Earl (Pee Wee) Jones was born June 9, 1963 in Theo, MS the son of the late Calvin and Lois M. Box Jones.
He was united in marriage to Tommie Lynn Smith on May 25, 2002.
Pee Wee was a graduate of McNairy Central High School class of 1982. For 35 years, he was a truck driver. He also worked at Adamsville High School and AutoZone Warehouse in Lexington, TN. He was a member of West Shiloh Baptist Church and a volunteer with the Stantonville Fire Department.
Some of his hobbies were working in his yard, singing and fishing. He enjoyed working with his hands and all of his tools.
Mr. Jones departed this life on March 23, 2022 in Stantonville, Tennessee at the age of 58 Years, 9 Months, 14 Days. He is survived by his wife, Tommie Lynn Jones of Stantonville, TN; three sons, Justin Lynn Jones of Michie, TN, Corey Lee Cooper and wife Morgan of Stantonville, TN, and Corey Heath Jones of Russellville, AL; three grandchildren, Hadlee Nicole Cooper, Brayden Jones, and Addyson Jones; mother-in-law, Linda Smith of Stantonville, TN; sister-in-law, Phyllis Ann Hurst and husband John of Selmer, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by an infant son.
