Pinson, TN: Mrs. Jamie Lee White Nash, age 95 passed away July 24, 2022 at her home.
She was born October 16, 1926 in Hardin County at Sardis and grew up in Chester County, the daughter of the late James Woodard and Velma Irene Inman White.
She attended schools in Chester County and married Maurice Carnel Nash, February 12, 1944 and they made their home in Chester County near Five Points. Mr. Nash passed in 1980.
She worked at Salant and Salant and I Apel Manufacturing Corporation for 36 years. She loved her flowers, gardening, and grandchildren.
She was a member of Unity Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Maurice C., Jr. (Mary) of Jackson, TN, Jimmy Nash (Connie) of Pinson, and Curtis Nash (Beth) of Jacks Creek; daughter, Betty Armstrong of Pinson; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; brother, Curtis White; and three sisters, Ida Preslar, Rozell Malone, and Neva Inman.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday July, 26 2022 at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson’s East Main Chapel with Dr. James Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in New Friendship Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at East Main Chapel on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
