JAMISON TRENT WOODY
was born in Selmer, Tennessee on October 2, 1984 the son of Sammy Joe Woody and Mary Ellen Franks Stanley.
Jamison was a Patrolman for the Savannah Police Department. He was a member of Porters Creek Baptist Church. Jamison was a 5th Degree Black Belt in Budoshin White Tiger Hapkido, 5th Degree Black Belt in Namido Jujitsu and Judo, 3rd Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo Karate and was a Level 4 Apprentice Instructor in Western Malay Kickboxing. He was a member of World Budoshin White Tiger Hapkido Federation-Master Chief Instructor (1st in command under his Instructor and Founder of the Budoshin White Tiger Hapkido System, Craig Hamm), Namido Jujitsu - Master Instructor, Koreja Do Christian Martial Arts Association- Lifetime member , Instructor at Koreja Do and Namido Seminars and 2010 Namido Yudanshakai Hall of Fame-Kenpo Practitioner of the Year.
He departed this life on August 15, 2014 at the age of 29 years, 10 months and 13 days.
Jamison is survived by his father, Sammy Joe Woody of Middleton, Tennessee, his mother, Mary Ellen Franks Stanley of Adamsville, Tennessee
his step father, Howard W. Stanley of Adamsville, Tennessee and step mother, Tina Denise Woody of Middleton, Tennessee
grandparents, Rheba Nell Franks of Adamsville, Tennessee, Samuel Hannis of Middleton, Tennessee and Ruby Lee Hannis of Middleton, Tennessee
2 sisters, Samantha Ellen Woody of Olive Hill, Tennessee and Amber Nicholle Woody of Middleton, Tennessee
Jamison is also survived by his fiance, Stephanie Vinson Scott and her children, Tristan Riley Scott and Ashton Lee Scott, all of Adamsville, Tennessee and his soon to be brother in law, Matthew English of Olive Hill, Tennessee
Jamison was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tommy Jack Franks, Lucinda Parrott, Gilbert Woody, Dr. Thomas V. Stanley and Claire Stanley.
