Jan Elrod

Janice Lee Weaver Elrod, age 46 of Selmer, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015 in Walnut, Mississippi.

Ms. Elrod was born in Bolivar on Tuesday, November 5, 1968 to Nola Mae Weaver, who survives, and the late Lester Weaver. She graduated from Bolivar Central High School with the Class of 1988 and worked for McNairy County Developmental Center as a residential aid. She also worked for more than 5 years as head cook at McNairy County Health Care Center. She was Baptist in belief, and she enjoyed cooking, watching wrestling, and taking care of her children.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her daughter, Natasha Erin Lee Baker of McNairy County; son, Michael Brian Keith Baker of McNairy County; sister, Cindy Shields and husband Johnny of Pocahontas; brothers, Jimmy Weaver and wife Reba of Hornsby, and Robert Weaver and wife Pam of Bolivar; three nieces, two nephews, four great-nieces, and one great-nephew.
