Mrs. McAnulty passed from this life on Sunday morning, October 27, 2019 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was a native and life-long resident of Hardeman County and the daughter of the late Delter Rayford and Myrtle Elena Maxedon Breeden. A 1949 graduate of Bolivar Central High School, she married Mr. Richard Moorman McAnulty on July 6, 1951. Mr. McAnulty passed away September 3, 2015. She attended the University of Memphis for a short time before going to work for The Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) office in Bolivar. She retired as a program technician there following 34 years of service.
Mrs. McAnulty was a member of the Bolivar Cumberland Presbyterian Church for many years where she served as secretary/treasurer and member of the CPW (Cumberland Presbyterian Women). She also taught a Bible study class in Somerville for a time and helped cook for the Bolivar First United Methodist Church's Prayer Breakfasts. She was a member of the DAR, as well.
She leaves her son, Richard Bryan McAnulty and his wife, Mary Beth, of Bolivar; five grandchildren, Meaghan McAnulty Baker, Thomas Ashe McCulloch (Natalie), Wesley Robert McCulloch, Kyle Raymond Moody and Bradley Robert Moody; four great-grandchildren, Nolan Barnes Baker, Robert McCulloch, Olivia Katherine Baker and Samuel Albright McCulloch.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Woodrow Breeden.
