Janice Sue Mynatt, 67, of Bolivar passed away early Monday morning, December 28, 2020 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The wife of Lewis Mynatt, who survives, she was retired from Western Mental Health Institute in 2004 as a Dietician with 31 years of service. She was born March 21, 1953, in Hardeman County, daughter of the late Burton and Etta Sue Ray McKee and lived all her life here. She married Lewis Mynatt on December 13, 1975 and was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. She enjoyed flowers, collecting rabbits and angels, but her greatest fulfillment came from being around her grandchildren, whom she dearly loved.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Randy W. Mynatt (Katy) of Bolivar and David Mynatt, Jr. of Kansas; two brothers, Burton Wayne McKee (Carolyn) and Milton McKee (Ann), both of Middleton; four sisters, Pat Griffin (Roger) of Selmer, Betty Jean Wing (Michael), Ruth Mynatt (Larry) and Linda Joyce Lance (Steve), all of Bolivar; and six grandchildren. Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to Hebron Baptist Church.
While visiting or attending services for Mrs. Mynatt, please consider the following guidelines:
* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
