Janny Laree Russell

Janny Laree Russell, 79, of Middleton, passed from this life Sunday, December 5, 2021, at her home.

The widow of Darrell Chambers and Billy Tranum, she was born Friday, February 27, 1942, in Jackson, daughter of the late Simmie Lee and Virgil Abigail Durham Russell and lived all of her life here in the county. She was a homemaker, raising her children, and enjoyed fishing, doing yard work and fixing up her house. Mrs. Russell was a member of Porters Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Ricky Tranum (Barbara) and Barry Tranum (Shelly), all of Bolivar, Timmy Tranum (Carla) of Selmer and Huey Downen of Middleton; two daughters, Tammy Kennamore of Florida and Kim Burnette (Austin Cole) of Middleton; two sisters, Pansy Baker of Bolivar and Pat Young (Mickey) of Alamo; three brothers, Glenn Russell (Vicki) and Johnny Russell (Andrea), all of Middleton and Roy Russell (Satha) of Summerfield, FL; fourteen grandchildren, Brandy, Bradley, Brandon, Blake, Tyler, Tanner, Trevor and Kaylee Tranum, Aaron and Bryce Downen, Kyle, Rylee and Konner Kennamore, and Kayla Zellner (Adam); and numerous great grandchildren.
