William Jason (Bird) Martin was born May 19, 1974 in McNairy County, Tennessee. His parents are Gail Allensworth and Rickey Paul Martin.
He passed from this life on December 9, 2019 at Methodist LeBonheur Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Jason loved to watch University of Tennessee Football, baseball,and nascar racing. He enjoyed going to the races with his dad, to watch Dale Earnhardt or Dale Earnhardt Jr. He also liked to play golf. He loved his family, friends and animals especially Lou Lou and Shiloh. Jason had previously worked at Aqua Glass/Masco Bath Corporation and most recently ThyssenKrupp Elevator in Middleton, Tennessee.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Gail Williams Allensworth of Selmer, TN; father, Rickey Paul Martin and stepmother, Patty of Pickwick, TN; maternal grandmother, Kathleen Williams of Walnut, MS; stepbrother, Justin Hanna of Savannah, TN; stepsister, Leann Gordon and husband, Daniel of Savannah, TN; nieces, Kaitlyn, Karley, and Kelly Moore; several aunts, uncles, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by brother, Larry Roger Moore; maternal grandfather, Pierce Williams; paternal grandparents, Eathel and Lucy Martin.
