Jaunita Burks Kiddy was born July 3, 1933 in Michie, TN, the daughter of the late Elsie and Myrtle Boshart Burks.
She was united in marriage to Gerry D. "Junior" Kiddy on April 8, 1952.
Mrs. Kiddy was retired from Brown Shoe Company as a Back Shoe Operator after 38 years. She was a member of the Stantonville Methodist Church in Stantonville, Tennessee. Jaunita was known for her fried chicken, cakes, and being a wonderful cook. She loved to travel and go to yard sales and flea markets. She was an avid collector of Moon and Star glassware, and an outstanding embroiderist. Jaunita adored her great grandchildren, was a magnificent grandmother, an incredible wife and mother.
Mrs. Kiddy departed this life on March 8, 2014 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 8 Months, 5 Days.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Junior Kiddy of Stantonville, TN; a son, Michael G. Kiddy and wife Pattie of Savannah, TN; two grandchildren, Amber Kiddy and spouse Ashton Feehan III of Selmer, TN, Bryce Kiddy of Stantonville, TN; three great grandchildren, Riley Feehan, Brinsley Feehan and Waverley Feehan; special friends, Betty Jones, Peggy Mathis and Francis Davis.
In addition to her parents, Mrs Kiddy was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tara Lynn Kiddy.
