Jean Blount Hurst

Jean Blount Hurst departed this life on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at the age of 91 years, 7 months, and 11 days. She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 15, 1926, the daughter of the late William and Hattie Kerr Blount. On September 12, 1946, she was united in marriage to LV Hurst, who preceded her in death on August 11, 2005.
Jean was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker and loved gardening.
She is survived by her children, Tommy Hurst and his wife Laura of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee, and Becky Colbert and her husband Donnie of Humboldt, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tiffany Hurst, Kevin Colbert and his wife Rachel, Heather Randles and her husband Scott, and Lee Colbert and his wife Christi; and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and seven brothers.
