JEFF HOLDER

Beech Bluff, TN: Jeffrey Glenn Holder age 62 passed away October 28, 2019 at his home.

He was born November 1, 1956 in Madison County and grew up at Pinson, the son of the late J. T. and Bonnie D. Pinkley Holder. He attended Chester County Schools. He married Phyllis Massengill May 9, 1974. They made their home in Chester County. He was co-owner Holder’s Carpet, spending his adult career working in floor covering. He loved hunting especially turkey and deer hunting, fishing, gardening and being outdoors. He also enjoyed NASCAR and western movies. He never met a stranger and friends were like family. He attended New Friendship Baptist Church.

Mr. Holder is survived by his wife, Phyllis Massengill Holder of Beech Bluff; two special nieces living in the home, Ariana Plunk and Adisyn Matthews; a brother, Stacy Holder of Beech Bluff and a sister, Cheryl Goodman (David) of Toone, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Chris Holder, a brother, Perry Holder and a sister, Lisa Faulkner.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, Nov. 2, at New Friendship Baptist Church with Dr. James Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in New Friendship Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at New Friendship Baptist Church beginning at 12 Noon on Saturday.
